Brookside Metal Company Limited was founded in the Midlands, in the heart of the industrial belt, in 1938.

The company has undergone many changes since then. Ownership has passed from BICC Plc, to Hampson Industries Plc and in February 2000 to Amalgamated Metal Corporation Plc (AMC Plc).

Brookside is possibly one of the worlds' and most certainly Europe's largest producer of gunmetal, brass, bronze and other copper alloy ingots. The Brookside MT brand is respected throughout the world as a sign of quality.
